Not everyone who enters your house is a family member. Friends and neighbors may visit, but they are not family. There are two basic differences between family members and others who occasionally come into our house: duration and responsibility. Family members are here to stay, while visitors are temporary. Family members have responsibilities. Visitors have none.
We usually enjoy having visitors, but we are not responsible for their long-term care. However, we are responsible to feed, clothe, educate and care for family. It is the same with spiritual family. While we are always glad to have visitors, we are responsible for the spiritual well-being of our members.
The Spiritual Family Class is the membership course for Victory Christian Fellowship. Taught by our pastors and leaders, it is designed to help participants understand the mission, vision, and values of our ministry. Some lessons in a Spiritual Family Class include: - Our Purpose: Why Do We Exist?
- Our Pillars: How Do We Build?
- The Pattern: What is the Church?
- Provision: How Do We Support the Vision?
- Participation: How Do I Get Involved?
Each Spiritual Family Class lasts for three hours.
